Security Tower Business Development Manager (BDM) Job Purpose: The Security Tower Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for security towers within the construction, logistics, and infrastructure sectors. The BDM will focus on generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through innovative security solutions. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual who excels at relationship building and has operated within the required sectors. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify new business opportunities for security tower products in target markets such as construction, logistics, and critical infrastructure. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities. Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets. Research industry trends and stay updated on competitor activity to identify market gaps and new opportunities. Client Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target industries. Conduct face-to-face meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations to showcase security tower solutions. Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring both the client’s needs and company profitability are met. Provide ongoing support and act as the primary point of contact for client’s post-sale. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and report on sales activity and outcomes. Use CRM tools to manage leads, track interactions, and maintain accurate records of sales efforts. Prepare sales forecasts and contribute to quarterly and annual sales planning. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards. Stay informed of any changes in laws, regulations, or security industry standards that may impact sales efforts. Key Skills & Attributes: Required: Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in business development and sales, ideally within the construction or security sectors. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner. Negotiation and Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently.
