Our client, a distinguished company within the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) sector, is currently seeking a Substations Training Lead to join their team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the development and delivery of training programmes focusing on substations.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing effective training programmes related to substations Ensuring the training materials are up-to-date and in line with industry standards Assessing the training needs and developing strategies to meet those requirements Delivering high-quality training sessions to various stakeholders Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes Collaborating with subject matter experts to enhance training content Maintaining records of training activities and conducting follow-up assessments Adhering to safety and compliance regulations during training delivery
Job Requirements:
Significant experience maintaining substation equipment and applying relevant safety precautions A keen interest in training others Level 3 Engineering qualification Knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules and NSI's. Previous training or coaching experience would be advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong organisational and record-keeping skills Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
