About The Role
The salary for this position is from £36,407 - £42,707 plus Car/Allowance (£6640 to £7270), plus up to 10% bonus, 5% matched pension, 25+8 holiday + company discount scheme + other corporate benefits.
Please note that the role will involve regular site visits to the South West sites, as required. Therefore, you need to be flexible for a primarily field-based role, with primary sites in Avonmouth or East Devon.
What will I be doing?
The H&S Advisor, within our operations team, will provide assistance to the Regional H&S Manager in further establishing a positive health and safety culture across the region while continually improving our already excellent H&S standards. You will promote the implementation of continuous improvement while identifying and promoting initiatives and excellence. You will work with our operations teams to develop risk assessments, safe working procedures, and participate in accident investigation to maintain our high standards.
What are the requirements? (Experience & qualifications)
You will have an appropriate professional qualification; a NEBOSH general certificate is a minimum requirement for this role. There will be the opportunity and expectation to undertake further training and qualifications to strengthen disciplines, where required.
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a desire to progress within a successful and supportive team. You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels. Any waste sector knowledge is desirable.
