An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audio Typist to join the Clinical Haematology service. The role will involve working within a friendly and welcoming multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
The main tasks will be to complete Audio Typing for clinics using digital dictation. It is essential that clinical letters are completed within the appropriate time frames, with accuracy and efficiency.

Person Specification
Experience
* Previous experience as an Audio Typist
* Experience with IPMs or similar
* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing routine information
* Experience of working in the NHS in a clerical role
* General administration
Qualifications
* Good Standard of General Education
* Minimum ECDL qualification or equivalent experience
* General Administration
* IT skills equivalent to RSA2, NVQ2 or relevant Microsoft Word packages
* Medical Terminology qualification
Knowledge
* Ability to use Microsoft Word packages
* Methodical, organised approach to work, good attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* Ability to assist both patients and clinical colleagues with non-clinical information
