OT Cyber Security Engineer
Here's what you'll be doing
Location: Home Based involving frequent travel across UK sites.

We are looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding Asset Risk Team. The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, focusing on a wide range of OT assets and systems deployed across traditional and advanced process technology types. Working through all stages of the asset lifecycle to ensure E.ON's OT systems continue to be safe and secure against the current and future cyber threat landscape.
* Supporting operational asset businesses with compliance activities with the OT Cyber Security Management System (OT CSMS)
* Conducting OT cyber risk assessment activities, both routine and ad-hoc, managing resultant risk population within E.ON risk management systems
* Supporting operational businesses with the implementation of OT cyber security strengthening initiatives, completing incident investigations and audit campaigns
* Assessing OT cyber security aspects of OT designs and corresponding management of change activities
* Supporting Supply Chain with OT-specific due diligence and assurance of existing and new OT Service Providers
* Providing technical advice on OT vulnerability notice issue, initial risk mitigation and ultimate resolution
* Developing technical content for OT cyber related policy, guidance and procedural documentation
* Acting as a contract manager for central OT cyber service & support contractual agreements
What we need from you
* Degree, or equivalent qualification, in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject, with additional professional specialisation in OT Cyber Security.
* Knowledge of recognised OT cyber governance frameworks, standards and best practices
* Experience of working with OT equipment and common industrial communications protocols monitoring, automating and protecting process plant operations
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal: to communicate technical details in a simplistic manner to multiple levels within the organisation.
* A logical thinker with strong presentation skills and a good team player, capable of managing resources and external contractors where required.
* Planning and organising skills to include effective adaptation to changing priorities, and a commitment to personal development.
* Project management and planning skills, with ability to meet committed deadlines.
* Full EU/UK Driving license.
It would be great if you had
* OT cyber qualification, such as Certified Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional – (GICSP) or ISA 62443 Expert, or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
* Awareness of Functional Safety
* Experience in a site operations or engineering role
* Professional registration with a relevant institute.
