We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate to join our team as a Cover Supervisor.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students in the absence of regular teachers. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise classes, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their learning. You will facilitate a positive and productive classroom atmosphere, support students in their academic pursuits, and uphold the school’s values and behavior expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes across various subjects, primarily focusing on Mathematics.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students understand the tasks assigned.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
* Support students’ academic progress and emotional well-being.
* Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that encourage student participation and engagement.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure a seamless learning experience.
* Provide feedback on student progress to teachers and contribute to their development.
Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum, particularly in Mathematics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
* A passion for education and a desire to support student learning.
* Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
