The Role of the Territory Sales Manager:
* Selling patient handling portfolio; patient slide sheets, patient warming, repositioning, transfer & turning devices, care management systems, prone & pressure area care.
* Points of contact are mainly clinicians and theatre managers (not surgeons) and procurement but this is only at the very end of the sale.
* Highly consultative - will spend an hour with a clinician before demoing products.
* Probably meet with 2 contacts in a day, supporting, discussing their problems (e.g., moving a heavy patient), requirements, and explaining how products address these issues.
* Demonstrating products by playing the part of the patient.
* Covering Scotland, with occasional travel across borders to assist the team. Ideally based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dumfries, Dundee, or Abington.

The Ideal Person for the Territory Sales Manager:
* Looking for an OCT/Manual Handling/Physio interested in transitioning into a more commercial role.
* Big on personality.
* Must be highly consultative – able to identify problems and provide solutions.
* Focus on solutions sales/problem solving, not price/commodity selling.
* Thorough knowledge of NHS operations through direct NHS employment or as a supplier to NHS Trusts.
