About the Role: Supply Chain Manager
As the Supply Chain Manager for Elektron Finished Parts, you’ll be at the wheel of delivering top-line growth and ensuring the timely and efficient fulfilment of customer programmes. Working with a dynamic team, you'll play a key role in driving the adoption of magnesium alloys in Aerospace, Automotive, and Industrial Applications, overseeing procurement and subcontractor management to deliver exceptional results.
Your Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of the subcontractor network to support the growth of EFP to $20m+ within 5 years
2. Work with the Commercial team to evaluate and manage customer programmes
3. Ensure timely and full delivery of accepted programmes
4. Lead customer communications and keep projects on track
5. Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality and cost targets are met
6. Manage contracts and mitigate risks by aligning them with customer contracts
7. Provide leadership, drive innovation, and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience managing multiple, complex, multi-stakeholder programmes
2. Direct experience in external customer relations
3. Expertise in Supply Chain Management (Aerospace/Automotive experience preferred)
4. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and evaluate commercial contracts (desirable)
5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
6. Procurement and Expediting expertise
7. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
8. Magnesium alloy materials & enabling technologies knowledge is a plus
