The Junior Power Platform Consultant role at iCoTech is a key role within the organisation reporting to the Practice Manager. In your role, you will act as 1st Line Support for existing applications deployed across many sectors. You will use the experience of your peers to understand the best route forward ensuring all issues are resolved within a timely manner and of high quality. Alongside support, you will own ‘iteration’ requests (change requests) and document high level functional requirements. You will work closely with the Consultants, building and growing your knowledge of the Microsoft stack. You will provide hands on project support and gain experience of the full SDLC. The Junior Consultant role is supported with a training path which will progress your career as a PPM Consultant. The role will include but is not limited to: Support (30%) Evaluate, optimise, configure, maintain and support existing Power Platform products deployed across multiple sectors (public & private). Using appropriate techniques and methodologies to diagnose, examine and resolve technical issues, escalating or delegating complex issues to our Senior Consultants Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, including design specifications, workflows, and technical configurations Iteration (50%) Co-ordinating engagements with the client, capturing high level requirements (minor change requests), drafting solution documents. Prepare, run and document workshops with customers (both virtually and in person) Work closely with consultants ensuring suitable solutions are fit for purpose. Developing, amending reports packs, making minor application changes across power platform products such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint & Dynamics. Carry out periodic account reviews with clients, providing status updates, and scheduling backlog items. Clear demonstration of a focus on delivery, responding quickly and decisively to take ownership Projects (20%) Work closely with Consultants supporting all aspects of the delivery lifecycle from initiation to closure. Develop, configure and customise Canvas, Model-Driven apps, PowerPages, Power Automate & Power BI reports Utilise Power Automate (Flow) where appropriate to automate and streamline workflows across different systems and applications Create and implement custom entities, workflows, plugins, and integration solutions Assisting with presentations and project status reports The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: Essential: Proven experience of having worked as a Support Analyst / Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Functional Consultant. Experience working in a formal IT project delivery environment Worked using either Agile Scrum or Waterfall methodologies Excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills Good understanding of change management techniques and business transformation used to support project delivery Experience working with IT development tools e.g. DevOps/TFS, Jira etc. Desirable: Experience of Portfolio, Programme, Project management methodologies/frameworks Experience in the Power Platform (Power Platform training will be provided) Experience of building Power BI reports (semantic models, flows, workspaces, permissions (RLS) Salary & Terms A great salary is offered. A standard mileage allowance will be paid for travel, and overnight accommodation for client visits is paid for.
