This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that closed 6 days ago at 23:59 BST.
The Vacancy
You'll be joining a dynamic, dedicated and growing team responsible for managing the post-construction phase of our housing developments. The team works to ensure that newly built properties, whether affordable rental, social rent, or shared ownership, meet the highest standards.
The team oversees defect resolution, structural warranty claims, and large-scale remediation projects where properties have been built with significant issues. Managing anywhere from a handful to 50-60 homes at a time, the team collaborates closely with contractors, warranty providers, and internal departments to ensure residents receive high-quality, safe homes. You’ll develop and implement the Construction & Latent Defects plan, manage resources, and act as the technical lead for latent defects.
You’ll ensure that post-construction issues are effectively identified, managed, and resolved, coordinating remediation work on-site as needed.
This role is crucial in ensuring quality, maintaining housing stock integrity, and protecting the interests of both tenants and shared owners.
The Role
You’ll approach this role with empathy and an understanding of our customer demographics. You’ll have knowledge and experience in the built environment sector, understanding of insurance principles, defect diagnosis, and managing contractors.
You’ll be experienced in the residential construction process, regulations, and health and safety legislation.
You’ll possess excellent communication, networking, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a strong understanding of development procedures and the ability to read plans and specifications.
To join our team, you’ll also have:
* Degree/NVQ Level 6 in a construction-related discipline (essential), membership in RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI (desirable).
* Driving license, access to a car, and flexibility to work across geographical areas.
* Collaboration experience working with warranty providers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This role brings extensive travel across the UK to our sites.
We do not require recruitment agency support at this time - all speculative CVs will be treated as a direct application.
