We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a growing and thriving business based in Scarborough who are one of the UK’s top companies in their industry.

Whilst growing the team, it will be a perfect blend of leadership and hands-on sales. You'll spend 50% of your time managing and mentoring the team, and the other 50% showcasing your skills as the top-performing salesperson. Your success will inspire the team and set the standard for excellence.
Some of the Sales Manager responsibilities will be:
1. Lead Engaging Training: Empower new starters with dynamic training sessions that teach them how to sell themselves, the business, and products effectively.
2. Mentor and Motivate: Collaborate with the team by listening to calls, providing motivation, and offering tailored support to fine-tune their sales techniques.
3. Optimise Lead Flow: Partner with the marketing team to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads, then guide your team in prioritising and maximising these valuable opportunities.
4. Master Objection Handling: Equip your team with powerful objection-handling skills, turning challenges into opportunities and building a resilient sales force.
5. Sharpen Opening Techniques: Drill effective opening questions to create a team that excels in initiating conversations and uncovering key client needs.
6. Perfect Closing Strategies: Train your team in diverse closing techniques, ensuring they can seal deals with various clients in any scenario.
7. Leverage Success Stories: Instil a deep knowledge of our case studies so your team can confidently share our success stories with clients, making connections quickly and convincingly.
8. Lead by Example: Be ready to step in, pick up the phone, and demonstrate how to open, fact-find, handle objections, or close a deal. Support new starters and trainees by helping push sales over the finish line whenever needed.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. You'll work one day a week in our Scarborough office, with the flexibility to choose between office-based or remote work for the rest of the week. The role offers a base salary of £45,000, with uncapped commission potential and a realistic OTE of around £75,000.
