Job Introduction
Brindley Hyundai has a fantastic opportunity available for an excellent and ambitious individual to join us as a Brand Sales Manager, overseeing our three dealerships in Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and our brand-new, state-of-the-art halo site in Cannock. As the Hyundai Brand Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales departments, for all three of our sites. You will focus on achieving and exceeding targets whilst ensuring each customer receives outstanding customer service, while controlling and improving the day to day running of the dealerships. It is important that you maximise commercial opportunities through monitoring and evaluating customer needs and competitor activity in the local market, ensuring campaigns are relevant and targeted.
Brindley Group Brand Managers work a variety of flexible patterns which include Saturdays to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.
In this role you will be reporting directly to our Hyundai Operations Director.
About the role
* You will lead, motivate and develop the sales teams at each location in delivering the highest level of customer service.
* Maximise the sales volume and profitability of both new and used cars and finance and insurance products for all three sites.
* Promote and maintain excellent customer relations by personal manner, appearance, integrity, and loyalty
* Maintain brand standards and build outstanding relationships with the brand
* Liaise with the manufacturer and achieve their volumes in all departments, CSI and other aspirations as appropriate
* On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the aftersales department in all aspects
Candidate requirements
* Strong experience, gained from a similar role within a car dealership environment is essential: 2 years (required)
* The ability to coach and draw the best performance from the people you manage in a manner that builds team spirits
* Prioritises the need to have an understanding of the relevant consumer and local market influences
* Possesses an energy and genuine regard for the importance of the customer to the sustainability of the business and introduce changes in practice when necessary to ensure excellent levels of service
* Experience of analysing an interpreting all types of commercial data, in order to put in place appropriate solutions to ensure business success and growth
* Has the ability to anticipate and act proactively as well as responsively
* Have technical knowledge of vehicles and the support functions
* Have strong management and leadership skills
* Be highly organised with attention to detail
* Fully understand how to deliver an ‘end to end’ service to customers
* Be a proactive team player
* Be enthusiastic and results driven
* Have a desire to succeed and meet and exceed our expectations
* Be fully computer literate with experience of dealership systems
* Be knowledgeable about the local area in a way that will benefit the business
