Learning Support Assistant Location: Colne (BB8) East Lancashire. This role is a full-time role (8:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday). The role is due to start in January 2025, however, the school are happy to accommodate transtion days. The pay for this role is £12.90 - £13.55 per hour depending on experience. Teaching Personnel are working in Partnership with a Primary School in Colne (BB8), East Lancashire, who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide additional support for their pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for: - Participate in the planning and evaluation of learning activities. - Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing, recording, and reporting pupils’ progress according to the school’s policies in order to monitor and foster pupils’ progress in all areas of learning. - Support positive behaviour and concentration levels of the children and adapt own behaviour and responses to any change or escalations in behaviour of the children. - Promote holistic development and British values within the PSHE policy across the whole school. - Promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and well-being through a whole Day Curriculum.
