At Oakfield Residents Ltd (ORL), we oversee Oakfield Estate, a stunning estate of luxury flats near Wimbledon Common, surrounded by incredible grounds and gardens. It is comprised of two high-rise and three low-rise blocks, containing a total of 106 flats.
We pride ourselves on providing a high-level service to our residents and maintaining exceptional accommodation and gardens.
We are now looking for a Cleaning Operative to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.00 pm.

The Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, order, and presentation of the Oakfield Estate, providing a well-maintained environment for residents.
Specifically, you will complete a range of daily cleaning tasks across the estate’s internal areas and communal spaces, ensuring high standards are met at all times.
You will also manage refuse collection from each flat’s locker, support the Estate Manager and Maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks, and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of cleaning procedures.
Additionally, you will:
* Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
* Report any damage or repairs required around the estate to the Estate Manager
* Maintain accurate cleaning work logs
About You
To be considered as a Cleaning Operative, you will need:
* At least one year of experience as a professional cleaner in a high-footfall environment
* An awareness of health and safety protocols
* A keen eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Punctuality and reliability to adhere to scheduled work
* A minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent
Please note, you will be required to work some bank holidays with advance notice and these will be paid at an overtime rate, as will any additional hours required during Wimbledon Fortnight for the championships where we anticipate an increased number of guests on site.
