Are you a motivated Researcher with an interest in supporting research in Fungal science and Microbiology? Are you committed to excellence in a laboratory setting? If so, this exciting opportunity may be an ideal role for you.
As a Research Associate, you can expect to be involved in:
* Contributing to the designing and execution of research projects, ensuring alignment with institutional and departmental goals.
* Conducting individual and collaborative research, gathering and analysing data to derive meaningful conclusions.
* Organising, storing and writing up results and reporting regularly to the research group, partners, and other stakeholders.
What will you bring to the role?
* PhD in Microbiology/Genetics or related relevant discipline (or to be in the final stages of obtaining such a qualification)
* Evidence of research excellence in Microbiology, including publications in internationally competitive journals and conference presentations
* Ability to carry out research independently
