Job Title: National Sales Manager. Location: Midlands (hybrid). Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 basic salary, with a realistic OTE of £100k. Key Responsibilities: The successful National Sales Manager will be responsible for: Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and personal development goals. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop, implement, and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and exceed targets for the company’s structural steel solutions. P&L and EBITDA Management: Demonstrate a strong understanding of EBITDA, P&L responsibilities, and gross profit. Develop and execute strategies that positively influence these key financial metrics to enhance company profitability. Sales Target Achievement: Set and manage sales targets, utilising data and market analysis to optimise sales performance and ensure consistent revenue growth. Negotiation & Key Account Management: Take the lead on major negotiations with clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term success and customer loyalty. Market Analysis & Sales Optimisation: Use data and market trends to identify opportunities for sales optimisation, evaluate potential risks, and execute strategies to capitalise on growth opportunities. Product Development Input: Provide valuable input to the product development team based on customer feedback, market demands, and industry trends to ensure our solutions stay ahead of the competition. Qualifications: The successful National Sales Manager will have: Proven experience as a Sales Leader within the construction, manufacturing, or structural steel sectors. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, meeting revenue targets, and achieving business profitability. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team to consistently exceed sales targets. In-depth understanding of EBITDA, P&L responsibilities, and gross profit management. Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience of managing large-scale and complex client relationships. An analytical mindset, with experience leveraging data to drive sales performance and decision-making. A strong understanding of the construction sector, particularly in structural steel systems and related industries. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. The ability to provide valuable insights into product development based on customer and market feedback.
