Job Title: File Transfer Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled file transfer engineer with expertise in file transfer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and automating batch workflows, handling system upgrades, and leveraging scripting to optimize release processes. This role requires strong administrative skills on both Linux and Windows platforms.
Required skills:
* Administer MFT infrastructure; activities include handling installation, upgrades, and maintaining file transmissions and related applications. onboarding/demising partners, monitoring the health of application servers, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, including L2/L3 support.
* Work in rotating shifts and provide out-of-hours support on a rotation basis to support the services.
* Identify operational and audit compliance risks/issues and contribute to mitigating the same.
* Participate in crisis calls for service recovery, MIRs, and SIPs. Own the resolution of problems in hand, and demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent recurrence.
* Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Sterling File Gateway (Sterling Integrator) and IBM Sterling Connect: Direct (Unix/Windows). Exposure to Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling External Authentication Server, etc.
* Excellent general knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, AS2, C:D, FTPS, HTTPS) and products.
* Knowledge of cryptography/key management (SSL/TLS, SSH, PGP/GPG, etc.) and data security
* Able to communicate technical issues or requirements clearly and effectively.
* Exposure to API Testing [Specialized in testing and validating XML, XSD, XPath Syntax, Web Services, MQ, Topics, REST, HTTP, and SOAP Messaging].
* Should have experience in UI and API/REST assured automation.
* Hands-on experience with the REST Assured/JUnit framework for API testing.
* Experience with GIT—GIT commands, etc.
* Hands-on experience with GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins.
* Good understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) and their working.
* Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol, and syntax.
* Good understanding of message schema, RAML, and message request-response mechanism.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
