The Climate Action Campus Ōtautahi is an educational facility providing environmental and climate-based programs for tamariki and rangatahi across Waitaha. This campus operates as a split site of Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery school.
We have a wonderful opportunity for a learning advisor to work on our campus devising programs suitable to the needs of attending kura. The successful candidate will plan and deliver programs with an environmental and sustainability focus to the students. The successful candidate will also take on a kaitiaki role helping maintain the whenua of the campus.
A passion for climate action, the environment, horticulture, gardening, and nature would be advantageous in this role. We are looking for an educator who is flexible and willing to be self-directive and use their initiative to ensure the smooth running of the campus. An understanding of Matauranga Māori is vital.
As the campus and the job are unique in the educational landscape of Aotearoa, we invite applicants to a tour on Thursday 16th of January at 10am, at the campus on Cowlishaw Street in Ōtautahi, Christchurch.
