This position assists with all aspects of summer catered events including set up, service, breakdown and clean up. Must also ensure that standards for quality, safety, sanitation, and presentation are met. Additionally, must have excellent customer service skills and assist with maintaining customer satisfaction.

Food Service or Catering background is helpful.

Positive attitude, self-motivated, flexible and able to take direction, ability to work well with people, able to work independently of supervision and have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Dress Code Requirements
Shirt with sleeves, full length pants, black apron (provided), name tag worn and closed toed shoes. For higher end events black slacks (not jeans), white tux shirts (provided), black shoes, black socks, name tag worn and black apron (provided). All clothes should not be form-fitted or revealing. All hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back.
Special Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 50 lbs using proper lifting technique.
Must be able to work day, evening and weekends.
Must be able to perform all essential job functions, which require prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and walking on hard surfaces.
In addition, we cannot permit vacation during the following high business times:
May 13-22
June 14-18
June 30 – July 10
July 27-31
Aug. 24-Sept 1
*There will be other times throughout the summer in which vacation requests will be limited. June & early July tend to be the months with the highest volume of guests and are typically the times in which requests may not be approved or will be limited to a first-come, first-serve basis.

7. Show responsibility for scheduled shifts and work effectively independently.
8. Ensure the timely execution of events.
9. Maintain supplies, equipment and workspace.
