Join the Youth Justice Service (YJS), working with young people aged 10-17 years old to prevent reoffending and support positive transitions in their lives.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of youth justice cases, working innovatively with young people from diverse backgrounds and engaging them, their families, and other professionals to assess, develop, and deliver interventions and activities that support their personal and social skills and participation in society.
2. Undertake regular Court duty, providing advice and support to young people, their families, and the judiciary.
3. Write reports to a high standard and within tight timeframes for Youth Magistrates and Crown Courts.
4. Directly contribute to achieving positive youth justice service outcomes.
5. Best practice in equality, diversity, and inclusion will feature throughout the work.
To be considered for the Youth Justice role, ideally you will have:
1. 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
2. Diploma/Degree in Social Work.
3. Social Work England registration.
