Senior Sales Manager – Ireland FMCG – Food Hybrid – 3 days connected – in Maidenhead or Leigh, nr Warrington Competitive salary depending on experience plus car allowance & bonus The opportunity: A leading global food company with a vibrant culture is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their Irish business. In this pivotal role, you’ll take ownership and accountability for driving growth and delivering P&L results for your customers. You’ll work across both strategic and operational agendas to make it happen. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position where you'll focus on building sustainable customer growth and advancing ABWF's goals. Your role will be crucial in achieving external business plans and meeting internal annual budget targets within your customer portfolio. What will my key accountabilities be? To drive the annual achievement of market-specific Net Sales and Profit targets, along with key strategic objectives, by managing the product range and P&L — with a strong focus on cost pricing, distribution, promotional planning, and in-store visibility. Collaborate with retailers and distributors - Tesco Ireland and BR Marketing, to develop and execute robust, mutually agreed annual plans. To develop and implement strategic market plans aimed at achieving long-term profitable growth, with a strong focus on fostering collaborative, results-driven relationships with key distributors and external partners. To build collaborative and results-focussed relationships with key internal and external contacts; Demand planning, commercial finance, market strategy & planning, category, marketing, shopper and customer service. Strengthen distributor integration and collaboration by fostering effective cross-functional relationships between ABWF teams and distributor. Lead the customer agenda internally; by inspiring, educating and engaging support from marketing, demand planning, supply chain, finance and input from wider teams such as category management & insights. Effectively communicate account performance, regional dynamics and opportunities and risks to key internal stakeholders through the Periodic and Quarterly Review process.. Who will I be working with? External: Customers & their teams Internal: Wide range of stakeholders across marketing, demand planning, category, and supply chain teams A great candidate will have: A clear proven history of delivery with a results-focused mindset. Great commercial grip and evidence of delivering long term sustainable growth. Previous branded account management experience, responsible for the entire customer cycle from plan development, through to negotiation and delivery. Distributor experience and experience working in Ireland grocery retail is highly desirable. A positive mindset - able to influence others and build powerful partnerships to make things happen at pace.
