Working Days / Hours: 4 on / 4 off (includes weekends on a rota basis) from 6:00am to 6:00pm

As a Technical Cleaner, your primary focus will be ensuring that our laundry equipment, machinery, and overall facility are clean, well maintained, and safe for use. You will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks and supporting the smooth operation of the Oxwash facility, working in line with defined safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Safety
1. Responsible for adhering to the Oxwash safety standards.
2. Responsible for using PPE correctly.
3. Responsible for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses that you witness or are aware of to the Management Team.
Personal Development
1. Take every opportunity to become an expert in the cleaning and maintenance processes at Oxwash.
2. Familiarise yourself with all cleaning procedures and machinery, ensuring you can perform your role to the highest standard.
3. Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement in cleaning procedures and equipment care.
Inventory
1. Report low stock of cleaning consumables or cleaning tools.
2. Communicate any missing items or equipment malfunctions to the Shift Manager or Maintenance Manager.
3. Be responsible for assisting with minor maintenance and upkeep of the cleaning equipment.
Operations
1. Execute cleaning tasks according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Support the overall goals of Oxwash by maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
3. Assist with deep cleaning of machinery and equipment, as well as performing regular routine cleaning and inspections.
Quality And Customer Experience
Ensure that all machinery is cleaned thoroughly and functioning correctly to meet Oxwash’s quality standards.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Maintenance Manager
You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager, who will oversee any technical maintenance needs and ensure that cleaning and maintenance tasks align with machinery performance.
Shift Manager
The Shift Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the shift. They will guide and support your role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Warehouse Operatives And Delivery Drivers
You will liaise with warehouse staff to ensure that the facility is clean and safe for the efficient processing of laundry. You will also coordinate with the logistics team to ensure that any customer orders requiring specific equipment care are handled properly.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Ensure Cleanliness And Safety
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety within the facility by cleaning machinery and workspaces as per SOPs.
Contribute To Operational Efficiency
Play a crucial role in ensuring the laundry processing facility remains operational by ensuring all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.
Support Sustainability Efforts
Help drive sustainability initiatives by using environmentally friendly processes to reduce Oxwash’s environmental footprint.
