CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVERWORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 (ROTA PROVIDED)START TIMES FROM 04.00PAY RATE: £17.00 - £34.00 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Colchester.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.To be considered for this role you MUST have a minimum of 24 months of continuous driving experience.BenefitsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits:Excellent Hourly RatesOngoing WorkWeekly PayOn-site CanteenTraining ProvidedImmediate StartsEmployee Well-being ProgramRates of Pay (PAYE)Basic: £17.00Overtime after 8 hours: £25.50Saturday: £25.50Sunday: £34.00Bank Holiday: £34.00Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to:Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens)Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsOperating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficientlyPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as neededEssential SkillsAs a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to:Must be able to work as a teamHave a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHIAB (ALLMI) Qualification CardMust be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)Hold a valid UK Category C LicenceHold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingSix-hour online training must be completed before attending assessmentDriver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be an on-the-job training
