You would be caring for critically ill patients requiring multi organ support; responsible for assessing, planning and delivering a high standard of individualised nursing care.
You will receive orientation to the unit and will be comprehensively supported with a full induction programme and ongoing development in the care of the critically ill patient.
You must have demonstrable post registration experience; and current acute setting experience is essential. Previous critical care experience is desirable but not essential. Ability to work internal rotation to night duty is essential.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our nursing team in the Critical Care Unit, where patients require intensive and high dependency care.
A new and exciting opportunity waits for you to gain experience in caring for many aspects within the speciality. There are opportunities for mentorship and critical care qualifications in the future.
There are 6 consultants, 2 Senior Sister / Charge Nurses and a Matron to support you in your development. We all work very closely with the nursing team striving to provide a quality service, including a nurse-led follow up service for patients post critical care.
You will be required to work flexibly across the 24 hour shift patterns and take part in the internal rotation system. You will be required to work cross as the service needs.
