Salary: £32,839.52
Location: Family Help Centre Bedworth and North Warks
The post-holder will work within the Warwickshire Family Wraparound Service, based within Family Help localities in Warwickshire. The specific address will be discussed at the interview or prior.
This is a permanent position with funding until March 2027.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for individuals who will work with families to ensure increased access to support as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role requires developing relationships with various professionals across organizations to enhance emotional, mental health, and wellbeing support, aiming to increase family resilience and empower them to manage their own mental health.
This post has the following special circumstances:
* Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
* The post holder must hold a full driving license and have access to a car for The Children’s Society business.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience
* Direct experience working with families facing complex social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
* Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., health, education, social care) and coordinate holistic care plans.
* Experience engaging hard-to-reach families and providing accessible support in community settings.
Skills
* Able to develop effective therapeutic relationships.
* Ability to amplify the voices of children and families, ensuring their needs are addressed in multidisciplinary settings.
* Ability to conduct thorough assessments (including service-based and risk-based assessments).
Qualifications
* Experience working with children, young people, and families in a similar setting, delivering support and structured interventions.
* Relevant level 5 professional qualification (e.g., Social Work, Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, Psychology, Youth Work, or Nursing) and/or significant relevant experience.
* The post holder must hold a full driving license and have access to a car for The Children’s Society business.
