This is an amazing voluntary opportunity at either Derby, Ripley, Chesterfield or Glossop, and a great way to learn more about policing, with training provided. You’ll be passing along the information you learn about police procedure, criminal law and crime prevention to our cadets, and take part in team building activities and local community events. You will be a vital member of the cadet team, coaching, supporting and helping our cadets to develop their character and confidence, while building up your own What do I need? You don’t need previous experience with policing to apply, but if you can volunteer 4 hours per shift to fit in with a regular rota to suit you, you can help us to provide vital support and mentoring to our cadets. All we ask is that you: Have the ability to supervise a team of young people and help them to achieve set objectives Have good organisational skills and basic IT skills You are aged 18 years or older Please read the job description for more information.
