As an apprentice, you will receive on-the-job training and support to develop your administrative and office skills within a residential care home environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with maintaining resident records, ensuring they are accurate and confidential. Answer phone calls and direct inquiries from residents, families, and staff. Help with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for the care team. Support the preparation and distribution of care plans and documentation. Maintain office supplies and assist with inventory management. Assist with processing invoices, payroll, and financial documents. Help with recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews and assisting with onboarding new staff. Coordinate staff training sessions and maintain records of training. Organise resident events and activities as required. Provide general administrative support to the team, contributing to a positive and efficient working environment. Requirements & Qualifications: No prior experience required, but an interest in administration and healthcare is essential. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. A friendly and caring approach to interacting with residents and team members. Willingness to complete an apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration or similar.
