Repairs & Planning Co-ordinator £28,476 per year 37 hours per week; Permanent Monday - Friday Crane Hill Lodge/ Hybrid Ref: IP345 The purpose of this role is to effectively co-ordinate and schedule repair appointments for customers to ensure that all are completed on time, effectively and where possible ensure a first-time fix. To work with the Repairs and Materials Co-ordinators, Customer Services team and Contractors to maximise customer satisfaction and delivery. To diagnose repairs to ensure that the most appropriate operative attends at a convenient time for the customer, to make an appointment for the repair work advising the tenant of the expected timescales for the repair to be completed. Key Responsibilities: As part of this role you will… Work collaboratively with colleagues throughout Orwell to ensure the delivery of the organisation's visions, values and objectives. Be responsible for the effective daily planning of the mobile workforce to ensure increased productivity and provide a constant high quality and cost-effective repairs service. Ensure that administrative tasks are completed weekly to ensure that all KPI targets are met. Forecast where repair volume may exceed resources available and take timely action to address the situation. Assist the Repairs and Void Team Leaders and the Repair, Estate Manager and Orwell Repairs Operatives to exceed the performance and efficiency targets. Contribute towards improved customer service, by ensuring that all appointments are met and customers are informed at all stages. Our ideal Repairs & Planning Co-ordinator will have… Experience in the scheduling and booking of repairs to domestic properties. Experience of organising the workload of the directly employed workforce. A knowledge of buying supplies, stock control, stock auditing and tracking. Vehicle tracking and monitoring knowledge.
