Responsibilities: Being the first customer contact in branch so the key thing is to be helpful and friendly Ensuring the safe and correct movement of materials around the branch Loading and unloading customer and company vehicles Offloading supplier deliveries into stock Picking orders and keeping the yard and warehouse clean and tidy Safety is a priority, and you’ll make sure that standards never slip What’s in it for me? This is a key customer facing role, so you will need to be enthusiastic and have great interpersonal skills. A fork lift truck licence would be desirable, however not essential as training can be provided. No previous experience? No problem We also offer a 12 month apprenticeship programme to provide you with the skills and tools to become a civils expert, supporting you to reach your potential. What we are looking for is someone with a friendly and flexible personality who is happy to communicate face to face with customers.
