We are currently working with a fantastic client within the Pharmaceutical industry who are looking for a Senior HR Advisor: Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our HR team at our head office in Ashby-De-La-Zouch. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading HR projects, supporting the development of HR systems, and ensuring HR best practices are followed across our depots nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who enjoys both strategic HR initiatives and hands-on support in a fast-paced, transport-focused environment. Travel between depots throughout the UK may be required, so a drivers license for this role is essential. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Systems Projects: Lead and contribute to HR systems development and project management initiatives, working with key stakeholders across the business to improve HR processes, systems, and compliance. Team Projects & Development: Collaborate with management teams to deliver team-focused HR projects aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and performance. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management. Talent Management: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and development of employees across multiple depots, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives. HR Policy & Compliance: Review, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company values and industry standards. Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs for managers and staff to support professional growth and ensure the continuous development of HR practices. Travel to Depots: Regular travel to depots around the UK will be required, providing HR support in various locations, fostering relationships, and addressing depot-specific HR needs. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within the transport or logistics sector. Strong experience with HR systems, project management, and team-based HR initiatives. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex employee relations cases. Ability to travel to depots across the UK as required. CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) or higher is preferred. Experience in managing and leading HR projects from initiation through to completion.
