An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Risk, Assurance and Compliance Team here at South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is friendly, enthusiastic and motivated to join us. This position will play a critical role in the coordination and support needed to deliver effective Risk and Compliance practice across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
1. Lead the administrative arrangements to ensure the efficient running of the Risk, Assurance and Compliance functions.
2. Work with Managers to support the use of compliance, assurance, and risk management processes throughout the Trust.
3. Work across both the risk management, assurance and compliance functions, planning and organizing a significant number of processes to ensure the Trust manages its responsibilities effectively.
4. Coordinate various meetings, leading the administration for these meetings including taking high level, accurate and comprehensive minutes, agreeing agendas with the Chair, preparing papers, and maintaining the Action Point Registers ensuring actions are progressed by members of staff in a timely manner.
5. Develop and lead the preparation of compliance and risk management reports/briefings for internal and external meetings, presenting these in person if required.
6. Review and interrogate a range of qualitative and quantitative data, some of which will be complex.
Person Specification
Education and qualifications
1. Educated to a degree level or equivalent specialist knowledge through experience.
2. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
3. Risk management qualification.
Previous experience (Paid/ Unpaid relevant to job)
1. Significant and highly relevant administrative experience in a busy office environment.
2. Experience of complex database management.
3. Significant experience of writing management reports.
4. Experience of producing and delivering training programmes.
5. Experience of working in a governance or risk management environment.
6. Experience of working in the public sector.
