As Warehouse Manager you will oversee a small team of 5, working closely with internal departments to ensure customer demands are met and business targets are achieved.
The business is seeking a strong communicator who is able to identify and implement change to improve process and efficiency. The individual will also be responsible for encouraging individual performance and working collectively to achieve company objectives.
Previous experience of working in a management/supervisory role in a warehouse environment is essential. Knowledge and experience of working within supply chain and logistics would be a distinct advantage.
Training and support will be in place, development will be encouraged and this will no doubt be a key role as the business continues to expand over the coming years.

The Role - Warehouse Manager:
1. Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing and shipping.
2. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
3. Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
4. Lead, motivate and supervise a team of 5 warehouse staff.
5. Identify areas for operational improvement.
6. Develop and implement best practices to improve productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and training sessions.
8. Manage inventory and quality control.
9. Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise scheduling and routing of deliveries.
The Individual:
1. A proven leader and people person. This role is well suited to a supervisor or team leader who has previously worked with a small team and can create a cohesive team environment.
2. A strong communicator who can work well with the wider business.
3. Organised, able to manage a busy schedule and delegate accordingly.
4. Previous warehouse management/supervisory experience.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Forklift license is preferred.
