We’re looking for a Inventory & Yield Optimisation Manager who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve the Tesco Media & Insight Platform. Joining our team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to manage and optimise a complex, multichannel portfolio of ad products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we are maximising ad revenue from our offering. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of a broad and varied ad portfolio across Digital and Store channels, defining what we sell, how we sell, and define all pricing and packaging methodologies. The role will set our future strategy for inventory management and pricing and manage a team of yield optimisation and pricing specialists. What you’ll be working on Define and deliver our inventory management capability including forecasting and monitoring inventory utilisation by channel across CPGs, Categories & Agencies, with the goal of maximising revenue Work closely with Proposition, Product & Sales teams to build revenue models that show the impact of differing and sometimes competing yield optimisation strategies Define our pricing strategy and implementation, optimizing for overall revenue impact and advertiser satisfaction Own all ratecard processes, taking on board feedback from internal sales teams & external benchmarks to ensure we are maximizing revenue through our pricing strategy Work closely with our Finance & Product teams to define and interpret revenue utilisation KPIs, and transform this data into actionable insights which can influence the evolution of our offering Report KPIs and educate the sales teams on yield optimisation strategies to help maximise revenue and advertiser demand Maintain a strong understanding of our ad platforms, data sources, operational and sales workflows to develop data-driven recommendations that improve yield and team efficiency Manage a team of pricing and yield optimisation specialists What we expect from you 10 years of pricing and inventory optimisation experience for a media owner or publisher, ideally across both digital and traditional channels Deep working knowledge of Ad networks/Ad exchanges/DSP/SSP/Publishers Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, Criteo or similar adserving technologies Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Sales Ops, or Ad Ops to achieve yield optimisation results Strong record of growing a high performing team in a fast-paced environment Strong commercial background and proven experience in partnering with cross-functional teams to drive commercial success Comprehensive understanding of digital or retail media advertising ecosystem What you can expect from us We won’t just meet your expectations.
