We are recruiting self-motivated and enthusiastic support worker, providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities within their own homes. You will make a difference to the quality of a person's life by supporting them with their daily living activities. Which can include intimate personal care: showering/bathing, dressing or undressing, assisting with toileting, along with administering medication and support with meal preparation to enable individuals to get the most from their daily life. You will have an understanding of the importance of social inclusion, promoting independence and enabling positive life choices. If you have experience of working in a care setting, have provided informal care and support to family or friends and understand that a person is at the centre of the care and support being delivered and you have a willingness to learn and develop your skills, then we would love to hear from you. The work includes weekends and bank holidays, where additional enhancements are paid on top of the basic salary, additional hours may also be available on top of the contracted hours.
