Data Migration Strategy Lead - Permanent - Up to £75k base - Hybrid
My customer is looking to hire a Data Migration Strategy Lead as a new hire into their organisation.
This is a strategic role responsible for defining, developing and delivering the strategy around the movement of data within the organisation, as well as overseeing migration plans delivered by the internal data team and/or third parties.
Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing ETL activity, including the liaison with business stakeholders on data requirements and potential issues.
You will be responsible for defining the data migration strategy for new system implementations, Legacy system consolidations, and M&A activity.
Working with The Data Transformation team, and the Data Architect you will lead data mapping and gap analysis as well as get involved in data cleansing and data quality activities and the strategy around these disciplines.
To be considered for this role you will have a strong background in data migration, but must also have been responsible for data strategy in previous roles.
The customer is a Microsoft house, so they are looking for someone with experience of data within Azure, and who is ideally certified in this area.
