Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
I am a little boy who has Autism and non-verbal, but I can communicate my wants and needs by leading and showing you what I want. I really enjoy listening to music and dancing and am generally a happy, bubbly boy. I love lots of cuddles and Mummy says I am a loveable little boy.
Going to the park and playing on the swings is something I really like to do, and i love to go walking too. I also enjoy going out in the car but if it’s bad weather I don’t like that at all, as it really badly affects me.
I enjoy watching all the horrible histories programmes on TV and would enjoy your company on a bad day to distract me by watching them. I have no safety awareness and need to be watched constantly.
I am dependent and needs supported.
I have a wheelchair but can walk short distances before I tire.
Sometimes my behaviours can be a little tricky to manage, so it is important that you are able to distract me.
Tasks involved: -
I would need to be taken to the various groups I attend which I really enjoy going to during the week, and on a w/e I would like it if we could do something together which I would enjoy.
During the school holidays we can plan together my groups and activities.
I would prefer a car driver due to the need of my wheelchair being taken out with us
Hours of work & rate of pay:
I require 9 hrs a week
Mileage is included
The rate of pay per hour would be £12.75 an hour
