About the Role
As part of the Resorts leadership team, itwill be your responsibility to manage both your internal teams andexternal service providers to ensure planned and reactive works arecompleted to the highest standards. Covering all facilities at theresort including all entertainment venues, pools, restaurants,rides, and landscape areas.
The overallresort is over 300 acres with an annual repairs and maintenencebudget of c£3m.
Thisrole requires co-ordination and control to deliver a prompt,efficient and high-quality service. Ensuring the resort complieswith all current statutory legislations, whilst actively looking toimplement processes / procedures to help make improvements wherenecessary.
You should bea real advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring thatyou are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support theirdevelopment and career with Butlin’s. You will manage your budgetclosely, driving your team to deliver KPIs based on sales and costsin line with our business plan and reviewing this regularly toidentify areas of opportunity and risk. This will also involveworking closely with our Operational Teams to project guest demandand team requirements accordingly.
As with allroles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need toenjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring thatour guest experience is always your number onepriority.
AboutYou
We are looking for anexperienced Head of Facilities or Senior Facilities Manager with anexcellent operational knowledge in hard facilities managementacross a range of specialisms. Credible background in a similarM&E infrastructure environment leading large teams that candeal with the day to day running of a busyresort.
You should have theability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods ofhigh demand. You will also have the ability to manage multiplepriorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements. With amixture of permanent team and contractors its all about deliveringexcellent standards.
Withstrong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring yourteam to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests everyday.
