Stripe & Stare is a fast-growing, BCorp certified sustainable fashion business. Known for making the most comfortable knickers in the world from trees. Sounds crazy, right? We also sell insanely comfortable bras, layers, and sleepwear.
Launched 7 years ago, Stripe & Stare has built a strong D2C presence in the UK & US and is stocked in renowned retailers such as Selfridges, Shopbop, Nordstrom, M&S, and Next. With ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a key hire to lead our wholesale and partnerships team, responsible for driving growth with existing partners as well as identifying new routes to growth in the UK, US and internationally. This role offers a hybrid working model, with home and office-based work in London.
Head of Wholesale & Partnerships - The Role
1. Strategic lead for the wholesale and partnerships team, working closely with senior management to set and deliver targets including wholesale pricing, margins and final contribution.
2. Identify new partnership opportunities across a range of business models: marketplace, wholesale and physical and drive the onboarding process.
3. Lead the relationship & planning with our existing partners alongside our current wholesale team to drive trade and maximise revenue and brand opportunities.
4. Oversee physical retail testing, including pop-ups and shop in shop opportunities.
5. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the management & wider team. Identifying product and range opportunities, contributing to the overall success of the department.
6. Co-ordinating partnership marketing campaigns, ensuring we make the most of potential opportunities to raise brand awareness across partners and their customer base.
7. Working with the internal Brand & Marketing teams to align key business campaigns and trading moments with Indirect partners.
8. Work with the product teams on range requirements to maximise opportunities.
9. Setting up best practice processes and ways of working to drive internal efficiency.
Head of Wholesale & Partnerships - The Candidate
1. 3-5 years’ experience within partnership, wholesale or indirect roles.
2. Able to demonstrate commercial awareness including strategic planning & trading.
3. Able to demonstrate UK and International market understanding with lingerie experience preferred.
4. A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
5. Great communication and leadership skills, able to influence internally and externally.
6. Passionate about sustainability and excited about working in a fast-growing, purpose-driven brand.
