Job Title: Management Accountant - Manufacturing
Reporting to: Financial Controller – UK & Ireland
Location: Maryport, Cumbria
MAIN OBJECTIVES
* To prepare accounts for SIS Manufacturing, preparing and implementing company KPI’s.
* Analysis reporting and challenging cost variances, and analysis of expenditure, reporting and control.
* Collating payroll information, credit control and weekly cash reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS
* Preparation of:
o 1.1. SIS Manufacturing accounts and reconciliations on a monthly basis as per monthly checklist and within deadline date given for review by UK Financial Controller, culminating in submitted audited accounts.
o 1.2. Journals and posting Journals at Month End as per monthly checklist.
o 1.3. Preparation & submission of Domestic VAT information.
o 1.4. Completion and reconciliation of Monthly Expenses for all SIS Manufacturing staff from Concur and manual expense sheets.
o 1.5. Preparation of Monthly Variances and KPI’s.
o 1.6. Weekly and Monthly cash forecasts.
o 1.7. Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
* Reconciliation of:
o 2.1. Intercompany accounts with all other SIS Companies.
o 2.2. All balance sheet accounts including personal accounts on a monthly basis.
* Submissions:
o 3.1. PAYE.
o 3.2. VAT.
o 3.3. Paying of Salaries both weekly & monthly.
* Set up an ongoing audit file throughout the financial year and for the financial controller to check on a Monthly Basis.
* Assist financial controller with year-end budgets.
* Maintain ongoing forecasts for the use of the key stakeholders.
* Filing of Account Information on a regular basis (weekly).
* Ad hoc reporting upon request.
* Other Duties:
o 10.1. To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time but that shall remain within the competency and skills of the post-holder.

Internal: C-Suite, Finance Team, Manufacturing Management Team, Relevant Group employees.
