Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and tailored English lessons to students at various levels, ensuring every student is supported to reach their full potential.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons, ensuring a consistent approach to teaching and learning.
Provide support for students with individual needs, promoting their personal growth and development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Previous experience teaching English at secondary school level (or equivalent).
Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students with varying needs.
A passion for literature and education, with the ability to inspire and connect with students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and personal growth as an educator.
Desirable:
Experience teaching English at Secondary level.
Familiarity with the latest curriculum changes and teaching resources.
Ability to teach A-Level English (where applicable).
Enhanced DBS check.
