You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our state-of-the-art laboratory and external resources are leveraged effectively to support our research initiatives. Your expertise will help translate analytical findings into actionable insights for the R&D team.
Based in our custom built lab and office, 10 minutes from central Oxford.
Utilise a broad range of analytical techniques including TGA, NMR, XPS, XRD, XRF, SEM/TEM, MS, wet chemistry, thermal analysis & microscopy.
Using statistical methods and techniques to extract valuable insights in order to analyse and interpret data.
Contributing to the development and management of our internal database management system.
Collaborate with external partners to ensure accurate and relevant testing for research purposes.
Develop metrics and methods including development of standard operating procedures documentation in order to support quality control.
Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field with industry experience.
Extensive hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as TGA, NMR, XPS, XRD, XRF, SEM/TEM, MS, wet chemistry, thermal analysis & microscopy, typically gained through research.
Previous industry experience, where you have managed external and internal suppliers and played a key role in the companies materials or chemical characterisation.
Strong ability to interpret data into actionable insights and comfortable using inhouse database tools.
Experience with inorganic chemistry.
Experience Implementing quality control.
