The Role
Due to continued success, our client is seeking a Building Safety Consultant to lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act (BSA) and Building Regulations. This is a non-regulatory role, providing the freedom to positively contribute to building safety across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with design teams, clients, and developers to ensure compliance, as well as contributing to CDM advisory services.
Building Safety Consultant Salary & Benefits
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 DOE + £4,500 car allowance.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Building Safety Consultant Job Overview
Lead on the Building Regulations and BSA Principal Designer role.
Advise clients and project teams on Building Regulations and the new procedural requirements under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Deliver BSA / Building Regulations Principal Designer functions across select projects.
Engage with clients to outline project scope and compliance approach.
Represent the company at Building Control partner workshops.
Monitor deliverables and provide monthly client reports.
Conduct technical review sessions with designers.
Develop and implement company policies, systems, and training standards related to the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations.
Oversee building control partners and establish clear scopes of work.
Support quality and compliance initiatives within the business.
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
Assist with onboarding and recruiting new team members.
Building Safety Consultant Job Requirements
Experience in Building Regulations, Building Control, or a related field.
Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. MRICS, MCABE, CIOB, or equivalent)- Flexible if qualified via experience
Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a growing team.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Willingness to travel when required
