Summary:
Working on behalf of one of the UK’s leading Water Hygiene/Treatment Companies. We offer cooling tower engineering and environmental solutions across the UK.
We have an opportunity for an additional Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a variety of different client sites to assist in the monitoring and maintenance of domestic water systems.
The role is covering the Southwest of England.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Temperature monitoring in line with ACOP L8/HSG 274 Control Regimes
Water sampling, in readiness for laboratory analysis
Shower cleans & disinfections
TMV servicing, calibration & replacements
CWST Clean & Disinfections
CWST & Water Heater inspections & surveys
Pluming remedial works, dependant on experience & qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years water hygiene experience
Ability to complete paperwork & make recommendations from Service Visits
A keenness to progress and take on additional training
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (not essential)
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Excellent timekeeping
Full driving licence
Be able to pass a DBS
Working for us means:
The salary is between £26,000 & £30,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.
Overtime available at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and x2 Sunday
Holidays - 25 days + statutory days
Company Van & Fuel Card
Probationary Period – 6 months.
Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation.
Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
