The Role
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level .NET Engineer to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about backend development and want to work on projects that leverage the latest technologies, we’d love to hear from you.
Role Overview: As a Mid-Level .NET Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing backend services for our innovative retail projects. You will work alongside a skilled team of engineers and collaborate with UX, QA, and product teams to deliver high-performance solutions using .NET, C#, and Azure. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in backend development while working on impactful, high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
* Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and other team members to build and enhance key features of the Future projects.
* Work on cloud-based solutions with Azure, ensuring scalability and high performance.
* Integrate backend systems with SAP and other client systems as part of seamless service delivery.
* Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code, contributing to the development of customers' digital products.
* Assist in API development and integration with internal and third-party systems.
* Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
* Contribute to code reviews and collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality code is delivered.
* Continuously improve and update skills by keeping up to date with the latest .NET and cloud technologies.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
* Experience in .NET/C# development.
* Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms like Azure.
* Familiarity with API development, Event Driven Architecture and integrating systems with enterprise platforms (experience with SAP is a plus).
* Strong backend development skills with an understanding of performance optimisation and scalability.
* Willingness to learn and contribute to complex, tech-driven projects, with a focus on retail technology solutions.
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with office presence required in the Northeast.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a desire to work in a dynamic, cross-functional team.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
* Interest in technologies like AI, machine learning, or IoT is a bonus.
