Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Development Manager to enhance our client's reputation as the venue of choice while driving commercial success. This exciting opportunity is part of the NEC Group, a dynamic organisation renowned for its commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales/Financial Delivery:
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the NEC's products and services.
* Investigate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
* Manage sales portfolios, converting leads through effective outbound and inbound sales strategies.
* Maximise sales opportunities through cross-selling and up-selling in adherence to sales targets.
* Assist the Customer Support Coordinator with sales order processing and problem resolution.
2. Business Development:
* Identify and nurture revenue growth opportunities within customer portfolios.
* Collaborate with management on effective campaigns for proactive sales and lead generation.
3. Account Management and Administration:
* Maintain relationships with all customer groups and ensure accurate record-keeping.
4. Client Liaison and Satisfaction:
* Build and strengthen relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction in line with venue requirements.
5. Compliance:
* Adhere to all company policies and regulations, ensuring proper use of systems and quality standards.
6. Candidate Requirements:
* Technical Skills:
o Previous contact centre/telephony experience preferred.
o Proficient in utilising various computer systems and processes effectively.
* Experience:
o Ideally, 2 years' experience in a sales and service environment.
* People Skills:
o Strong interpersonal abilities; skilled in influencing and negotiating.
* Personality Traits:
o Thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
o Effective communicator across all levels, building rapport easily.
* Attitudes:
o Passionate about sales and customer service with a proactive 'can do' approach.

Salary and Benefits
