Our client, a leading UK metal stockholder, is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their successful and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to pursue a long-term career in sales within a well-established and highly respected organisation.
The Role:
The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in developing and managing customer relationships, handling incoming enquiries, and providing exceptional service to both new and existing clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts within the metals industry
Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
Handling customer enquiries, providing quotations, and processing orders
Identifying new sales opportunities and working proactively to convert leads into orders
Liaising closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
Maintaining accurate records using the company’s CRM system
Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a sales, sales administration, or account management role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and develop within a sales environment
Experience within the metals industry would be advantageous, but not essential
Package Details
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on level of experience
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Full training and ongoing support provided
08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
