Inventory Control Coordinator
Wilsonart, Temple, Texas has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Coordinator. The Inventory Control Coordinator will maintain inventories for all samples and merchandisers. Order raw materials in INFOR to maintain the production of samples. Inspect material received from outside vendors, verify packing list, inspect for damage and check collated material. Order laminate from Temple and Fletcher plants for HPL Sample production. Follow-up with plants on back ordered material. Label pallets and stock the material in the bins. Performs other tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Order Laminate from Temple and Fletcher to maintain inventory and to fulfill special orders.
2. Follow up on material back ordered at the plants.
3. Updating inbound laminate status in INFOR
4. Create Bill of Ladings
5. Adjust daily production in INFOR.
6. Assist with cycle counts and quarterly inventories on bulk samples, merchandisers and brochures, as needed
7. Maintains the customer order statuses
8. Receive material into Oracle.
9. Experience in dealing with internal and external customers.
10. Communicate via email and ship samples to the customer.
11. Ship and receive material, as needed.
12. Interact with customers through Wilsonart’s Bizarre Voice Application – high level of understanding of company’s products and product applications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
2. High level of experience and comfortability with computers and related applications: Access, ACL, Microsoft Suite Applications, Oracle
3. Knowledge of the products marketed and their manufacturing process.
4. Knowledge of distribution process.
5. Knowledge of mathematics, sufficient to calculate square footage.
6. Ability to communicate well in oral and written forms with all levels of the organization.
7. Ability to type sufficiently to input data.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Ability to work regularly in the warehouse in a non-climate-controlled environment that requires PPE.
10. Familiarity with inventory management software systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Three plus years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or related roles within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Heavy Work - Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 50 to 100 pounds.
