A Middlesbrough based food manufacturing company is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to join their existing team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
This is a varied role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, involving PPM work, projects, and reactive breakdowns in both production and facilities engineering.
We are looking for a good all-round engineer who is flexible, hardworking, and may be looking to try their skills in a different industry if not already in food.

1. 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) - 3 blocks of 4 days per month, & 1 block of 4 nights per month
2. c£43k + c£1k for nights premium

Responsibilities of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
1. Planned and reactive maintenance working with the team
2. Modify and update PPM system daily to ensure engineering information is up to date and accurate
3. Provide proactive service and support to production and factory services
4. Identify spares requirements and maintain stock levels
5. Maintain records for historical purposes of repairs
Skills & Experience Required to become a Maintenance Engineer
1. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or academic and practical qualifications
2. Ideally ONC / HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
3. 2+ years of food industry or FMCG experience, but will consider others
4. Experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
