Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing the full audit process from planning to completion
* Leading, mentoring, and developing the audit team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
* Building and nurturing strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on audit and financial reporting matters
* Providing technical guidance and support to both clients and the audit team to ensure compliance with relevant standards
* Reviewing audit files, offering feedback, and ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
* Collaborating with other departments, such as tax and advisory, to offer comprehensive services to clients
* Contributing to business development by identifying growth opportunities within the audit function

Candidate Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified, with a minimum of five years’ audit experience in UK practice
* Proven experience managing audit assignments from start to finish, with a strong technical knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting
* Experience in leading and mentoring audit teams, with a focus on delivering excellent client service
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert audit and financial reporting advice
* A proactive and organised approach, with strong communication and leadership skills
* Commercially minded, with the ability to identify growth opportunities within the audit function
