Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - M&E Building Services
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Working hours: Monday to Friday Early & Late shift, 8am - 5pm / 6am - 3pm
Salary: £51,000 per annum + AP Training + Organised progression plans

About the Role:
I am seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join my client's team, to be based at a site in Chelmsford. In this role, you will primarily oversee maintenance tasks across this large commercial building. You will spend 70% of your time off the tools, focusing on leadership / supervisory duties, with the flexibility to assist with hands-on PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
2. Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
3. Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
4. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
5. Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
6. Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines.
7. Provide technical support to the engineering team to assist with M&E planned & reactive repair/maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
1. NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higher in Mechanical or Electrical trade
2. Proven experience in a similar M&E Maintenance Supervisory or Leadership role.
3. Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
6. Driving licence is desired, not essential.
